Cottage Country Mix Vol. 12

Cover for Cottage Country Volume 12 Rock Mixtape

I’m going to be free some day,
I’m going to be free to go just where I please
When I want to go

You know what this is. In our twelfth instalment, Dougie Boom’s Cottage Country Mix. Now, admittedly, there wasn’t a whole lot of over-conceptualizing about this one, just some straight forward rockin’ tunes for your outdoor afternoon romp. As the songs suggest, the summer sun should be blaring (“Holiday In The Sun”, “Baby’s on Fire”) and so should the tunes, so turn it up! With tracks by Funkadelic, The Clash, AC/DC, MGMT, 13th Floor Elevators, Frank Zappa and more you should more than prepared for a (w)reckless afternoon.
